The Titles — the words used for God
The Titles are the words Scripture uses for God rather than his name: in Hebrew, Elohim, Adonai, El, Eloah, Shaddai, and Elyon; in Greek, Theos, Kyrios, Hypsistos, Pantokrator, and Despotes. Each is shown in the original with its transliteration, its sense from Strong's lexicon, and the number of verses it occurs in. The word 'lord' is also used of men.
These are the words Scripture uses for God — not his name (YHWH), but his titles. Each is shown in the original Hebrew or Greek with its transliteration, its lexical sense from Strong’s, and the number of verses in which it occurs.
